when he wanted to paint me, he did give the impression that he wanted everything off. without the helmet, wouldn’t he just be jason? though, maybe that would give the piece a certain... vulnerability? the detail of the expression is what made the sayuri, the painting yusuke’s mom did so famous.

sure shiho had um a lot of things to say when we were in art class together, but yusuke does say there’s no such thing as terrible art! just art that makes him have a very... negative physical and mental reaction.
time to show the world my talent! or, not the world, that might be a little embarrassing.
( embarrassing for tim. even if the painting ends up completely terrible, she can always just call it an abstract work meant to convey feeling not conventional anatomy. )
i have been to a couple of art exhibitions where the pieces have descriptions that are way too long with placard text so small you’d have to lean in to read it and risk stumbling over the protective barrier. a long explanation does make art seem fancier or like you might be an idiot for not understanding it.
